Cozyosko's have arrived at Bits n Bobs! After waiting most of the year for the cold weather to start arriving, I was very excited this week to open the box of Cozyosko's! I found these gorgeous cosytoes back in the spring and knew then that I wanted to stock them.

In a range of bright and funky designs, they are sure to be the envy of your friends! Originating from Australia, and designed by a mum, much time...

It has been a while since my last post. As you can imagine I have been busy entertaining a very energetic 3 year old for the summer holidays. She starts back on Friday and I am looking forward to having 5 mornings a week of peace!

Over these holidays, Baby Bits has started walking! He took his first steps aged 10 months and was walking properly at 11 months and 1 week. Which got me to thinking about the dreaded Nursery Run!

Before we know it, he will have gained enough confidence to b...

So here we are, one week on, and I have just about recovered from the Charity Walk! The MK Midnight Moo took place last Saturday 18th July - 10 miles around Milton Keynes - and I am very proud to let you all know that I completed it in 3hrs 28mins!

The fastest time was 2hrs 45mins, so I am extremely pleased that we were only 45mins behind. Never in my wildest dreams did I even think I would finish, let alone do it that quickly.

Sunday was filled with extreme pain... by Monday I...

The night has finally arrived! In 3 hours time, I will be setting off on the MK Midnight Moo. Walking 10 miles around Milton Keynes in the middle of the night... what WAS I thinking?!

My bag is packed with plasters, water, snacks and torch. I am sat here in my Moo T-shirt and I am getting just a little bit nervous! I think the furthest I have ever walked is around 6 miles, so although it may seem nothing to some people, it is quite a big thing for me!

Hubby assures me that being on my...

In 24 hours time, I will be setting off to take part in the MK Midnight Moo. A ten mile walk starting at midnight, the route takes in Milton Keynes shopping centre, the concrete cows and of course, Willen Hospice for whom we are raising money.

So have I kept to my training schedule? Well... no is the short answer! With family commitments, extreme weather conditions and a slight fall down the stairs, there seems to have always been a reason not to head out.

However, I am a stone lighter...

In 4 weeks, 2 days and 13 hours (approx!), I will be walking the MK Midnight Moo. This is a ten mile walk across Milton Keynes, in aid of Willen Hospice.
Approx 1000 women are taking part, with around 300 helpers, plus an unknown number of spectators....

Would you like to get your business seen by all these people?!!

For a small donation , I will be happy to wear a badge or sticker on my t-shirt, or if you do not have badges or stickers, then I will even safety pin ...

As you will already have seen, Bits has had a facelift! After a very stressful couple of days, trying to decide whether or not to change our name, we decided the name would stay but we needed a new image!

On the recommendation of Charlie Moos, we asked the wonderful Katrina from TomatoTea.net if she would design us a lovely new logo. Armed with the very vague 'brief' of Robots, Bright Colours and child-like, I was amazed with the fantastic logo & banner she ...

The excitement started when we saw the handwritten envelope.... it heightened when we saw the familiar CharlieMoos sticker on the back and went into overdrive when we realised it contained the long awaited 'Thank You' Seed Tags! I'm still not entirely sure what most of them mean, but with a bit of help and a bit of luck, I have managed to conquer most of them so far!
I am top of the page on Google if you search for Harness Buddies and I was pleased to note today that on an MSN search of Bits n Bobs, we have made it onto page 4! Big achievement for a mum of 2 who used to use the internet purely for sho...

I have set up pages on Twitter and Supermummymumpreneurs and also joined Mumsclub. Jo from Charlie Moos has talked me through linking my blog and my Twitter Feed into various sites. I have a list as long as my arm to work through, and also a lot of learning to do, but I am getting there slowly.

I finally bought a good pair of trainers this week, for the sponsored walk I am doing in July. Unfortunately, not much training has happened this week, so I've not had a chance to wear them yet. We did manage to go out for about an hour and a half on Thursday. That was an interesting walk to say the least. First of all we were walking parallel to a road that we thought would take us back home, then we realised we were actually following the bypass into the next town! So we turned arou...

Now, I am not the most energetic person in the world, and I would like to say that I am still carrying a bit of baby weight, but if the truth be known, the weight was here long before babies! I have contemplated doing various charity events before, but by the time I have thought about it, the event has been and g...
