In 24 hours time, I will be setting off to take part in the MK Midnight Moo. A ten mile walk starting at midnight, the route takes in Milton Keynes shopping centre, the concrete cows and of course, Willen Hospice for whom we are raising money.

So have I kept to my training schedule? Well... no is the short answer! With family commitments, extreme weather conditions and a slight fall down the stairs, there seems to have always been a reason not to head out.

However, I am a stone lighter since I signed up for it and I am hoping that the atmosphere of walking amongst 1000 women will spur me on! I keep trying to work out just how far it is (to nursery and back 5 times... from my house to the motorway.. etc etc), but I think I just have to put it to the back of my mind and put my best foot forward!!
